I am certified as a labor doula through Dona International (www.dona.org). I am devoted to providing information and support to families so that they can make informed decisions about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and the early days with their newborns. I have supported first-time parents (and second and third-time parents), VBAC births (vaginal birth after caesarean), as well as both medicated and non-medicated births. I am committed to supporting families without judgement, in any birthing setting they choose (home, birth center, or hospital with OBs or midwives in attendance).
I believe that women deserve to give birth with dignity, joy and peace of mind. I promise to always provide unconditional emotional, physical and informational support to women and their partners through labor and delivery into postpartum care. I offer expectant parents a free consultation meeting so you can meet me and learn more about having a labor/birth doula on your birth team.
