As a mother you can feel confident and emotionally supported during this important journey for you and your baby. A labor doula can significantly reduce the amount of time you are in labor and the use of medical interventions. Most importantly, having support during labor leaves a couple more satisfied with their birth experience.

I am certified as a labor doula through the Dona International (www.dona.org).  I am devoted to providing information and support to families so that they can make informed decisions about pregnancy, childbirth, breast-feeding, and the early days with their newborns.  I have supported first-time parents (and second and third-time parents!) VBAC births (vaginal birth after caesarean), as well as both medicated and non-medicated births, without judgement.

I believe that women deserve to give birth with dignity, joy and peace of mind.  My mission is to always provide unconditional emotional, physical and informational support to women and their partners through labor and delivery into postpartum care. I offer expectant parents a free consultation meeting so you can meet me and learn more about having a labor/birth doula on your birth team.
